Our Vision at Zion United Methodist

As United Methodists, we have an obligation to bear a faithful Christian witness to Jesus Christ, the living reality at the center of the Church’s life and witness. To fulfill this obligation, we reflect critically on our biblical and theological inheritance, striving to express faithfully the witness we make in our own time.

At times, our denomination has been shadowed by those who are in and those who are out. At Zion Church you will find a compassionate group of people who look to help each other grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

When we say all have a place at the table we mean it. Everyone no matter where they are in their walk with Jesus Christ, belongs. Everyone deserves to feel loved and welcomed.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20

As a church we are working on a new vision for the life of Zion. As a church we realize that we can always do more. We hope you will prayerfully consider coming to help us with that!
