Zion Hotdog Cafe Ministry

Join us every Tuesday from 4:00–6:00 PM for a free hot dog meal! Whether you prefer to drive through or come inside and enjoy your meal with us, everyone is welcome. Come as you are and bring a friend!

The Zion Hotdog Cafe Ministry is one of the joyful ways we serve our community with love, food, and fellowship. Each week, our Hotdog Crew gathers to prepare a meal and create a welcoming space where everyone feels valued and cared for.

Our team begins at 3pm every Tuesday, faithfully working behind the scenes to get everything ready for our guests.

More than just a meal, the Zion Hotdog Cafe is about connection-sharing conversation, encouragement, and the love of Christ around the table. All are welcome.

The Cycle of Grace Collective

Our women’s ministry, The Cycle of Grace Collective, provides free menstrual supplies to women and girls in our community who may be facing financial hardship.

We believe no one should have to choose between basic necessities and period products.

We meet at the church on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month to organize, assemble kits, and plan outreach efforts. All are welcome to join us — whether you’d like to serve, donate, or simply learn more about how you can help extend grace in a very practical way.

We currently distribute hygiene kits at Zion Hot Dog Café and at local NC Food Bank pop-up markets. We also regularly stock local blessing boxes and the restrooms at the Leland Public Library and Coastal Clean Laundry in Leland.

The Methodist Home for Children

At Zion UMC, we are proud to partner with The Methodist Home for Children in supporting their 1K for 1Kid program. Through this life-changing ministry, we help provide hope, healing, and stable homes for children and families across North Carolina.

Throughout the year, our congregation also shares Christ’s love by providing:

  • Thanksgiving Food Boxes for families in need

  • Angel Tree gifts at Christmas to ensure families experience the joy of the season

  • We are grateful for the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community and beyond.

Community Blessing Box

Our Blessing Box is a small way we share God’s big love with our community.

Located on our church grounds, the Blessing Box is available 24/7. It is stocked with non-perishable food, hygiene items, and other basic necessities. If you need something, please take what you need. If you are able, feel free to leave something for someone else.

Free WiFi & Charging Station

Under our pavilion, we offer free WiFi and a device charging station for anyone who needs it.

Whether you need to check email, complete schoolwork, search for employment, connect with family, or simply rest for a moment, this space is here for you. Benches and shade are available for your comfort.

Our church grounds are meant to be a place of refuge, connection, and community.

All are welcome.
